Periods, PMS, pregnancy and the years either side.
So much of women’s health runs on things that are easy to measure and easy to miss — iron, iodine, B vitamins, omega-3. Heavy periods quietly drain iron; preparing for pregnancy asks more of you months before it begins. We look at the whole picture rather than one symptom at a time.

Does this sound like you?
- Your periods are heavy, painful or hard to predict
- The days before your period take more out of you than they should
- You’re getting your body ready for pregnancy
- Things are shifting with age, and you’d like to feel steady again
Heavy periods and iron
Heavy bleeding month after month takes iron out faster than food puts it back, and the tiredness that follows usually gets put down to a busy life. It is one of the most common things I find, and one of the most straightforward to put right.
Getting ready for pregnancy
The months before conception matter more than most women are told. Iodine, folate, iron and omega-3 all want to be in place beforehand rather than started once a test is positive. We work backwards from when you would like to be pregnant.
When things shift with age
Perimenopause changes what your body asks for, and the approach that worked in your thirties often quietly stops working. We adjust what you are already doing rather than starting you over from nothing.

Not sure which option is right? Just message me — we’ll find the best fit together.
Write to me first. Paying comes later — if at all.
You don’t have to book anything to talk to me. Tell me what’s going on and I’ll reply personally — often by voice message, so you hear a real doctor rather than read a form letter. I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help. If I can’t, I’ll say so.
